Yes, except for delivering your baby. the Organic Baby Nursery Co. provides all of the labor involved in setting up your baby’s nursery. From floor to ceiling, we customize and personalize your nursery to fit your goals for the room.
What is the timeline to complete my baby’s organic nursery
First, the Organic Baby Nursery Co. design team meets with you to discuss the nursery theme, decorating package and paint color. We use the safest natural paint without voc’s (volatile organic compounds). Second, you can choose the desired organic baby clothing, skin care products, bpa-free bottles, soothies, cotton animals, bedding, and many other organic product options for the first years of life. Third, we discuss the variety of solid wood baby furniture which will compliment the nursery theme, color, and style you desire. Upon completion of product decisions, the Organic Baby Nursery Co. places your order with our product manufacturers. Within 4-8 weeks we will be ready to fully customized your baby’s organic, eco-friendly nursery. This is a 2-3 day process which includes painting and if preferred, removing carpeting and installing an environmentally safe eco-friendly flooring product. The second day provides the most exciting component of the organic nursery room process called “the Organic Baby Nursery Co. reveal” which concludes the decorating portion of your baby’s nursery.

the Organic Baby Nursery Co. understands our customers might have special pieces of furniture handed down from family members over the years. If so, we can work out a nursery package that is right for you.
How much will it cost to have the Organic Baby Nursery Co. develop our nursery
We provide 3 organic nursery packages. Perfectly Pampered starts out at approximately $2,999+/-, Silver Spoon starts out at approximately $4,999+/-, and Spoiled Rotten starts out at approximately $6,999+/- . Our solid wood cribs can convert to toddler beds and then full-size beds. Furniture sets are appropriate into early to mid teenage years. The furniture is made by the amish.

We provide our service to customers who reside in the State of Washington, specifically, the Greater Puget Sound area. However, we hope to be expanding our service into the State of Oregon within the first year of operation.
What does the Organic Baby Nursery Co. think about fair labor or trade
the Organic Baby Nursery Co. will only work with product manufacturers who have a fair labor and trade policy. As an example, fair labor or trade means at a minimum that the farmers who grew the cotton and the manufacturers who sewed the t-shirts were paid a living wage, not just the wage the plantation the cotton was grown on or the factory the t-shirt was sewn in can get away with paying. Fair trade satisfies certain criteria on the supply chain of the goods involved, usually including fair payment for producers and that is conducted legally.
What is organic cotton
Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemicals (pesticides and chemical fertilizers), employing innovative farming and weeding practices instead, and does not genetically alter the cottonseed. It takes about 1/3 pound of chemical fertilizer to produce one pound of non-organic cotton. And it takes about one pound of cotton to make one t-shirt. These toxic chemicals pollute ground water, air, and soil.
